Gold Hill Care

Gold Hill Care has grown out of a ministry of Gold Hill Baptist Church, serving older people. Today, Gold Hill Care is a Christian charity responsible for the care and management of:
Rock House Residential Care Home
Founded in 1967 by Gold Hill members Dorothy and Reginald Watts, it is a well run, award winning, residential and specialist care home for older people.

Gold Team Homecare Service
The service was created in 2002 by Gold Hill Care with the aim of providing practical assistance to enable people who are sick, disabled or older people to maintain their independence and remain in their own homes rather than moving into a residential nursing home.

Graham House Sheltered Flats
Built in 1972, Graham House provides 12 single bed studio flats, managed by Gold Hill Care. Graham House stands adjacent to Rock House and the buildings are joined.

The Christian inspiration for Gold Hill Care breathes a distinctive quality throughout the organisation that endeavours to provide a high standard of professional care.  The desire above all is for those who are cared for to retain their independence, dignity and individuality and to enjoy a high quality of personalised service. Care is provided to those of all faiths, non faiths and to all denominations.
Rev. Keith King, Associate Pastor at Gold Hill Baptist Church is the Chaplain for Gold Hill Care. He provides spiritual help and support to residents and staff within Rock and Graham House, as well as others within our community served by the Gold Team.
